Subscription Features
If you subscribe, you get everything!
For only $24.95/six–months, you
will enjoy ALL the services Family eJournal has to offer. As we
grow, so will your Family eJournal experience because we have big
plans for the future. We’ll give you Tips for Talking to your
Parent/Child and we’ll present articles and reports for reference.
We’ll have surveys, polls and contests that both parents and
kids will enjoy and learn from.
Subscription Communication
If you are the Family Leader then we will mainly be communicating
with you. Our main reason for this is to keep things simple and
maintain a high level of privacy and security for your family. There
will be instances when we need to communicate with Family Members
but that will mainly occur when we assign a password, the Family
Member contacts Family eJournal or if the Family Member has participated
in another site feature such as a contest. See our Privacy
Policy for more details.
For your family’s own privacy and security, we strongly suggest
that each family member have a unique email address. This will be
especially helpful if, for example, a member requests a forgotten
password.
Billing
Billing dates are based on when you initiate your subscription.
If you sign up on January 5, then six months later, on July 5,
your credit card will be billed again for another six months of service.
We bill ahead so when your credit card is billed
on January 5, you are paying for service for the next six months, through July 4.
We will automatically bill your credit card, until
you cancel your subscription. See Cancellation
below.
In order to subscribe, you agree to a minimum of six months
of service unless there are extreme circumstances like the death
of a family member.
If you would like to change the credit card by which you are
making payment, you may do so by contacting us but DO NOT provide any credit
card information until a method has been agreed upon.
Free Trial for 7 Days
Don’t worry, we make this easy too.
When you sign up for a subscription, we must
collect your credit card information. That’s how our website
works.
If you cancel your subscription before the end of the 7th
day, we’ll refund the full membership fee and you are not
obligated to do anything else.
If you cancel your subscription before the end of the 7th
day, you cannot apply for a subscription for at least two months.
If you cancel your subscription before the end of the 7th
day and honestly want to re-apply for a subscription before the
two-month waiting period, you should email us at subscribe@familyejournal.com
and explain your situation. It is very likely we will accept your
application and assume billing from date of your initial application
plus any processing fees we have incurred.
Credit Card Payments
We only accept payment by credit cards and it must be online
through www.familyejournal.com.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Our online payment plan uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption
for your protection.
Cancellation
Ultimately, your family will no longer need Family eJournal. Perhaps
the kids are all grown up or we’ve helped your family build
trust, rapport, and communication skills such that you are now very
well connected. Great, we’ve accomplished our goal!
Send an email to cancel@familyejournal.com explaining that you would like to cancel your subscription.
Please provide your Full Name, Billing Address, and Phone Number.
DO NOT email any credit card or account information, like passwords.
The date and time that WE receive your email will serve as
the official time of cancellation (in case of technical problems
the date and time will default to the time our technical problems
arose).
We will contact you, the Family Leader, via your current email
address on file, to verify that you wish to cancel your subscription.
Your reply to our confirmation email will cancel your subscription.
Note: Only the Family Leader can cancel a subscription.
