Kevin Strauss, M.E.

Mr. Strauss is the President of Now or Never, LLC and the creator
of the Family eJournal. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical
Engineering from North Carolina State University and his Master
of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic
Institute. He has worked for nearly ten years in the areas of orthopaedic
implant research and development, regulatory affairs consulting
and National Institutes of Health funded medical device research.
During the past five years at Amron Corporation, Mr. Strauss has
focused his efforts on improving the standard of living of our elderly
population by developing devices that allow more independent living.
More recently, Mr. Strauss initiated a very successful relationship
between Amron and Johns Hopkins University to work in the area of
behavior modification in an effort to improve handwashing and decrease
the spread of infection in the healthcare environment.
Mr. Strauss’ work at Amron and his passion for psychology,
human behavior and communication is what led him to incorporating
Now or Never, LLC and bring the Family eJournal to you.

Wendy Kliewer, Ph.D.

Dr. Kliewer is a developmental psychologist and an Associate Professor
at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Her work focuses
on family contributions to youth's coping with and adjustment to
stress. She is interested in how parents communicate with their
children, and the strategies they use to promote competence, especially
in the context of stressful life circumstances.
Dr. Kliewer has been a collaborator on the Family eJournal project
from the start and provides valuable guidance and insight regarding
family and youth communication. Dr. Kliewer is a valuable resource
and provides a link to clinical psychology.
Allie Henze

Ms. Henze is a teen with flair and style. Ms. Henze serves a very
critical role as Family eJournal's Teen Advisor. She is currently
enrolled as a freshman at University of Western Ontario, Canada
in Business studies but became involved with the Family eJournal
while still living at home. Ms. Henze has many interests including
a very successful
blog, basketball, photography and website design.
If you need a teen's perspective or advice on any sort of problem
or issue,
Ms. Henze would be a great person to contact. Generally, replies
will be
within 48 hours. Just remember that she only offers opinion because
we do
not counsel.
